The clocks have gone back, the nights are colder, but the music scene is only getting hotter. October has been full of hauntingly good releases, and Blonde Vibrations are proud to round up the very best sounds lighting up the season for our latest ‘Future Vibrations’.

Lucky Iris - 'play me like a speaker'

From the moment you press play, 'play me like a speaker' pulses through your headphones, immediately grabbing your full attention. This unhinged, eclectic, club-ready track intoxicates with a hypnotic trance, showing Lucky Iris at their most daring. Their sound feels like an amalgamation of risks, constantly experimenting to create something new, vibrant, and invigorating. The result? A genuinely good time, proving that the crunchy-pop era is fully upon us. In the gap left by BRAT Summer for perfectly imperfect, authentic dance tracks that simply do not care how they are perceived, Lucky Iris embraces every side of themselves with passion, making music they would want to hear out in the world. The story that the mix reportedly 'shattered the pair’s car speakers on the first listen' feels perfectly emblematic of this bold sonic exploration, a fearless marriage of sounds designed to captivate and pull in a new audience. It is a song that truly feels alive.

Gia Ford - 'God'

Gia Ford is an artist that you can always rely on to release something timeless, alluring and electric. ‘God’, her latest single, marks a striking new era as she steps away from the world of her previous project 'Transparent Things’. The track creates an immersive mood, one that draws you in slowly rather than demanding your attention upfront. Introspective and atmospheric, it expands the cinematic universe Gia continues to build so vividly. Lurking in the shadows, ‘God’ blends elegant guitar, crashing drums, and a touch of psychedelic shimmer tied seamlessly together by Gia’s smooth yet brooding vocals that weave effortlessly between genres. It is the kind of sound you want to completely submerge yourself into. Having seen Gia headline Islington’s The Grace earlier this month, it is clear how Gia transforms her recordings live, turning the restraint and tension of her studio work into something electric and commanding. Her and the band’s presence filled the room, leaving no question of her star power for the future to come. Already catching the attention of Elton John, it is abundantly apparent that Gia Ford is on a trajectory that shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.

Blair Davie - 'First and Last'

Blair Davie is a name that deserves to be on everyone’s mind in the near future. There is something so special about pressing play on an EP and instantly realising you are stepping into a world far more emotive than just hearing a few new songs, and that is exactly what happens with ‘First and Last’. Each track weaves into the next, building a story of love and reflection. They explore how it evolves, lingers, and how every moment feels deeply personal yet effortlessly delivered. It is a rare talent to bare so much of yourself through songwriting, but Blair does so with grace and intention. Their sound is rooted in vulnerability, and that honesty is what makes listeners feel so connected to their artistry. A standout moment comes with the closing track Butterflies, a piece that feels achingly intimate, like a love letter to being completely adorned by someone, no matter the changes or challenges that come along the way. It is a perfectly tender and timeless track. First and Last' is a truly special project, one that deserves every bit of recognition to come its way.

Iris Caltwait - 'Serpentine'

In 'Serpentine', Iris Caltwait confronts the sting of lost friendship, with betrayal acting as a catalyst to re-examine buried emotions. The track exposes vulnerability in its rawest form. Not the warm, comforting kind, but the shadowy, unglamorous truths that lie far beneath the surface. Iris uses her voice like an instrument in the verses, leading into a full, striking chorus that feels both haunting and cathartic. The lyricism is rich with vivid, unsettling imagery like 'I didn’t see your angel eyes were serpentine' and 'Snakes have skulls with several bones and a bendable jaw to swallow you whole.' Innocence and evil twist and melt together in these lines, as we witness betrayal from someone once trusted, revealing an entirely new, darker side to them. The final moments drift into something almost lullaby --like, leaving the track feeling unnerving, resistant, yet beautiful. She has created a masterclass in tension and depth, and we cannot wait to see what daring moves Iris is yet to make with her next release.

Tonia - 'Right By You, Right On'

Tonia has honed in on a sound made for the yearners and the dreamers. With candid lyricism and coming-of-age production, she crafts a dreamy pocket of bliss that instantly soothes the listener. Right By You, Right On’ beautifully tangles emotions from exhaustion to love, from showing up for others to the overthinking that follows when you’re trying to balance it all. A reimagined version of her original ‘Right On’, this release expands the story with even greater sincerity, stripping things back into a softer, more intimate alt-pop moment. Tonia captures the messy, hazy intertwining of emotions with remarkable clarity, marking her as one to watch for fans of artists like Nieve Ella and Matilda Mann.

Kat Penkin - 'The Underdog'

'The Underdog' is a beautiful, genuine ode to honouring your journey and giving yourself permission to strive for success. You do not have to prove anything or earn your place on this road, you are allowed to be here. Lines like 'I know the game but I still played it wrong' capture the frustration of chasing a constantly shifting finish line, even as it seems just within reach finally. The track explores the tension of being the underdog, grateful for what you have, yet burdened by the weight of higher expectations for yourself. She confesses that 'there's worser things than the mundane', wanting to stay strong yet crumbling when you have been unable to reach 'ideal destinations'. Sonically, it highlights Penkin’s vocal prowess, building to a cinematic climax in the final minute. The ending feels unresolved, but that’s what makes it so real as life rarely ties up neatly. Despite the uncertainty, there is still an underlying optimism in the title, a refusal to give up despite being seen as less than tough competition at times. 'The Underdog' breaks the fourth wall and exposes this harsher underbelly of the music industry, yet you can still see the courage in her and fighting back with such a strong release that showcases all she can do. It is a perfect introduction to Kat Penkin, showcasing her comforting, soft, yet ever-evolving sound.

CATTY - 'Bracing For Impact'

From an explosive opening with 'Joyride' to a closing reflection on the fear of losing the very thing that gives you life and sanity in 'Man on the Run', CATTY’s 'Bracing for Impact' feels like a pocket of life itself. She proves her vocal power and playful control of dynamics across the EP, but this final track unveils a whole other side of the Welsh singer, one steeped in vulnerability and introspection. 'Man on the Run' captures that haunting aftermath of a relationship ending, the moment when you realise that if this ends, it takes everything you thought you knew about yourself with it. There is simply no hostility here, just a palpable ache at the idea of great loss, and with that comes a quiet need to escape. The lyrics pulse with love and raw feeling, where CATTY once healed out of spite, she now confesses 'I'm way too far gone for healing, and love will lose all meaning, ‘cause you were everything to me and now you’re a sinking feeling.' It is her most exposing work yet, a striking show of emotional depth and versatility that contrasts the vigour of the tracks before.

Izza Gara - 'OVU'

Izza Gara’s multidimensional sound sends you spinning, wondering where she’s been hiding until now. In the rollout for her upcoming EP, 'SUPERBIA HARDCORE', she has dropped 'OVU' for us to feast on in the meantime. Its intoxicating, infectious beat paired with soft, whispering vocals creates a fusion that lands with bite. Izza radiates an effortless confidence in her production, moving purely by intuition and crafting soundscapes that feel both instinctive and refined. There is a fearless curiosity in how she experiments, creating a vision of stepping into the unknown with radiance and optimism. With 'OVU', Izza Gara has definitely caught our eye, and earned that pre-save for her project.

Nieve Ella - 'Lucky Girl'

Just when you think you know where Nieve Ella is headed sonically, she pivots entirely and ‘Lucky Girl’ is proof of that. Following the upbeat alt-pop energy of ‘Good Grace’ released earlier on this year, her latest track leans into something more vulnerable while retaining the band’s rock-infused edge. It is a song that captures confusion, anger, and gratitude all at once, embodying the bittersweet process of closing one chapter and stepping into a brighter, more grounded one. Here, Nieve takes back control of her own narrative. The chorus becomes a mantra, a manifestation of what is to come for her, as she navigates the whirlwind of early adulthood  - the chaos and change that follows this. The line ‘I am a lucky girl and I get what I want’ feels less like a lyric and more like a declaration we can all internalise! With every release, Nieve and her band grow tighter, more intentional, and more mature in their sound. ‘Lucky Girl’ feels like the start of a heavier, more refined era and honestly, how lucky are we to witness it unfold?

MASON - 'SAUNA'

MASON’s sound captures every breath, lingering moment, and touch, embodying the rush of being with someone new with powerful intensity. Her latest track, ‘SAUNA’, is a sonic exploration that shifts and melts as the story unfolds, where unexpected intimacy grows into something far deeper than lust. That tension pulses through every beat. What begins slow and sultry evolves into a production that feels unpredictable and magnetic - a true hallmark of MASON’s transformative style. Citing inspiration from artists like SOFIA ISELLA, RAYE, and Billie Eilish, MASON proves that she is busy carving her own lane among the greats, crafting something intense, provocative, and undeniably unique. ‘SAUNA’ showcases her vocal range with nowhere to hide, with the result of a fully immersive, genre-blending exploration of desire that refuses to sit still.
