While November might be the forgotten sibling, that liminal space between spooky season and the cosy festive countdown, the music scene hasn’t slowed for a second. This month’s Future Vibrations proves that good things really do come to those who wait, and there is always time to find a new artist to carry you into the new year.

Holly Humberstone - 'Die Happy'

Holly Humberstone is back with that dark, cinematic aura that we've known and loved since her debut in 2020. 'Die Happy' as an introduction to Humberstone's new era is super exciting, it opens the first page of a dusty fairytale book, and as ever with Humberstone, you're not sure what's to come from the next page, which makes it all the more addictive. Holly has a hypnotic way of telling stories that truly invites the listener to walk around her various worlds, with their gothic and eery atmosphere. The song's chorus 'So hit the gas, I want it fast, want it reckless / Now that all that matters is your name on my necklace' is a shocking yet real confession of intense love and the dangers that come with this. It's an extreme love song that solidifies Holly's return to releasing music so loud that you can't miss it, and leaving you yearning for more.

Two Tone - 'Jordans'

What a debut single. London-based duo Two Tone slam onto the scene with a track that demands everyone else step aside and listen to what they have to say, which is simply ‘come get your stuff from my yard.’ Every element on 'Jordans' is crafted with intention, the production running a tight ship to deliver pure R&B excellence. Ruby and Dara might be emerging, but they sound miles beyond their years. This sharp, textured track captures the chaos of the London dating scene with real, authentic charm, tapping into the moment a relationship breaks down and you finally recognise your worth beyond the sub-standard treatment they gave you. This is the anthem of speaking up for yourself, walking away from what no longer serves you, and refusing to let anyone rewrite your narrative to make you smaller. Two Tone have, in their own words, delivered a ‘breakup anthem with no apologies,’ sealing it with the unforgettable warning that ‘if you break my heart, I’ll break your Jordans.’ Watch this space, we can’t wait to see what this duo does next, and trust us, you will be hearing about it - they will make sure of it!

Raghd - 'Significant Value'

Raghd's new EP, 'Significant Value', is a masterclass in genre fusion, solidifying her as an exciting new voice in the industry. Entirely self-produced and weaving rap, club and alternative pop, she builds a soundscape that's both boundary-pushing and addictive. It's the kind of project you find yourself looping again and again. Opening track, 'Runaway', sets the bar high for the track list. It's a quiet yet bold beginning, with the haunting question of 'If I come back, will you hold my hand?', positioning Raghd in a tender space of intimacy and vulnerability but inviting the listener to join her there. 'touch me right' is a reflective moment on a past relationship, the difficulty of moving on when nothing else quite feels the same and the vast questions that come with this. Its instrumental breakdown towards the end of the song spotlights Raghd's immense production, and makes it a guaranteed highlight on any live performance in the future. 'I dream a lot' feels exactly like those late-night spirals full of confessions. Its repetitive nature mirrors the inability to shake those thoughts about a lost love and feels like the perfect track to accompany 'touch me right' in turning the project's final page. This closure of the EP feels like a final release of lingering emotions, fears and candid thoughts, a moment of true catharsis that feels both cleansing and necessary to move on to the next stage of Raghd's life and creative endeavours.

Sara Baroni - 'Dead End'

Blonde Vibrations comes to a new Sara Baroni release like moths to a delicate flame. ‘Dead End’ continues the world she has already built, but with fresh stylistic choices and a confidence that grows every time we return to her sound. ‘Tokyo’ opens the project in a powerful place, singing from the halfway point between heartbreak and healing. This is pure escapism, running away to free yourself from the person who has taken up too much space in your mind, knowing you cannot wait for them anymore, yet still battling the fog they left behind. You can be miles away physically, but mentally stuck in the same place. The distortion that closes the track emulates that fuzziness perfectly. ‘giulia’ leans slightly more pop, a sweet twist on her signature sound. It pushes her songwriting into new territory as she steps into the perspective of a fictional character, the version of herself she ‘could never be,’ shared to her Instagram followers. When real life feels overwhelming, it feels so easy to wish yourself into someone else’s shoes, someone who seems to have it all together, at least from where you are standing. The EP ends with the titular track, and what a standout it is. Diving into grief and the slow ache of losing someone, it echoes the emotional weight of classic Holly Humberstone and early Gracie Abrams, yet retains the glowing warmth that Sara showcases in everything she creates. There is a coldness in the narrative, but her delivery is, of course, as tender as expected. This six-track run is a beautiful, rich collection, and it is wonderful to see Sara receiving more recognition as her fanbase continues to grow.

Lila Dupont - 'All in Now'

Lila Dupont has such a special voice, and 'All In Now' lets that bountiful emotional depth bloom across every last moment. It sits at the crossroads of leaping, committing to the process, to the feeling, to the thing you love even when it scares you. The composition is sentimental and delicate, holding space for vulnerability without ever softening or downplaying it. ‘Tried too hard to hold it lightly, the heaviness fell through my hands, could you promise you will always love me’ captures the fear and apprehension of stepping into something real, the instinct to tense up around what matters most. At the same time, the track knows that shying away only leaves you stuck, wondering what if forever. It meets those fears head-on with the mantra-style repetition of ‘I’m going all in now,’ a reminder to herself, and us, not to retreat when the moment calls you forward. ‘All In Now’ is a tender, endlessly replayable track that lets Lila’s velvety voice guide you straight into the heart of her poetic sphere, where both fans and new listeners alike are welcomed in.

Dolder - 'Girl I Know'

Girl I Know’ is an elegantly gentle yet devastating track from identical twin sister duo, Dolder. Their voices blend seamlessly as they unravel the ache of wondering where it all went wrong, the endless cycle of questioning, replaying conversations, and realising the truth was never about what you did, but what the other person could not do - be brave and open. They capture this with confessions like ‘told you I thought about dying… think that might have put you off,’ cutting straight to the heart of emotional vulnerability and how often it is mishandled in budding relationships. Their modern female storytelling is at its strongest when they declare, ‘cause you craved a body but it’s my mind you broke,’ speaking to the mental loops that linger after being strung along, then dismissed while the other person continues to ‘advance on selfish endeavours’. Dolder understands this timeless tale of lovebombing and ghosting, the emotional debris that crumbles and is left behind. Alongside their previous single ‘Charlie’, ‘Girl I Know’ feels like the beginning of a journey that we are eager to follow from the outset and cannot wait to see where they take their storytelling on the upcoming EP ‘The Motive’.

BERENICE - 'SANTA BROKE MY HEART IN 2 (Merry Christmas Harry')

Well, doesn’t this song take you somewhere you never expected to end up when you first pressed play? Releasing a memorable Christmas track is like finding a bauble in a blizzard, nearly impossible, but BERENICE pulls it off effortlessly. The opening verse of ‘SANTA BROKE MY HEART IN 2 (Merry Christmas Harry)' is tender and vulnerable, letting heartbreak show its face in that soft December glow. Then almost without warning, the whole thing flips on its head. Suddenly, we are no longer in sad-girl territory anymore, we are immediately transported into a pop-rock, festive revenge fantasy where the man who thought he could get away unscathed gets served his karma. This feels like if GUTS-era Olivia Rodrigo smashed a few candy cane guitars. It is deliciously cheeky and wonderfully vengeful. Instead of moping around for someone who does not deserve her, she gathers with the people who actually love her and refuses to shed a single tear from her perfectly made-up eyes. This is a festive, unhinged take on a self-worth anthem, a reminder that you do not have to let heartache win this cuffing season, and that even Santa can find himself on thin ice.

Hetta Falzon - 'The Rabbit Hole'

Any song that Hetta Falzon releases is guaranteed to stop you in your track, and 'The Rabbit Hole' does exactly this. The power Hetta has to be so vulnerable in her songwriting and convey emotions that many of us share in such beautiful and moving ways is admirable and makes her a one-of-a-kind talent on today's music scene. Heartbreaking lines like 'I tighten my grip each time I try to clutch at straws / And what it was / So far down the rabbit hole I think it's set in stone / I'll let it go' are the lyrical version of hearing your heart shatter. It's an honest and painfully relatable representation of what happens when you're so far into a dark stage of life that you can't see the trajectory changing. Writing on Instagram, Hetta says the song 'became a space for me to be deeply honest about myself and the person I felt I was becoming. It's an ode to Manchester, the place where I have been the best version of myself, and the worst.' 'The Rabbit Hole' is a song about isolation and helplessness. By sharing this part of her life, Hetta creates a space for anyone who has watched themselves slip into a less-favourable version of who they are. It's a space to sit with that pain, but also to glimpse at the light at the end of a tunnel that can feel impossibly far away.

Outpost Drive - 'Lonestar'

Outpost Drive's latest single, 'Lonestar', is a heart-warming track that could make anyone fall in love with country music. It's a gentle ode to young love, capturing its intensity in both joy and heartbreak. Reflecting on the relationship that inspired the song, half of the transatlantic duo Mary Bragg Robinson shares: 'Now every time I drive through Texas, I see the ghost of our teenage selves on the road ahead of me.' Those ghosts of past selves are beautifully woven throughout the song: you can feel the young couple in the heat of their connection, during the fallout, and in the quiet after, where healing and growth have settled in. Each line carries a layer of that journey, making 'Lonestar' glow with both memory and maturity.

Stan Pratt - 'INTROSPECTATOR'

Stan Pratt simply never misses it seems, and his latest EP, 'INTROSPECTATOR', proves why. Opening with ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’, this EP delivers heart-on-sleeve synth-layered pop with theatrical vocals and a dreamy, fantasy-like energy you can easily imagine pulsing in a grungy, sweaty club. ‘Cry Me Rivers’ exudes romance on the surface, but beneath the blushing production lies lyrics exploring obsession and a haunting narrative.  By the track’s end, you are left hazy and uncertain, a testament to Stan’s cleverness as a storyteller and creator, shifting the sound to follow. The EP closes with ‘Erotomania’, a standout finale. Here, a twisted story unfolds of an obsessed fan convinced they are in a relationship with a celebrity crush. Stan ties together mania, parasocial behaviour, and misplaced displays of affection, crafting a disco-charged dance floor hit whose inner layers are far more complex and nuanced than they first appear. 'INTROSPECTATOR' is a maximalist, bold statement, blending social commentary with moments that let listeners simply let loose. It feels like the two ideas would have a hard time combining, but Stan melts all these elements together so seamlessly, raising the bar for his peers. Since the rollout of singles, including ‘Dopamine Beast’ earlier this year, anticipation has been high, and Stan Pratt surpasses every expectation with this alt-pop collection of tracks that you want to repeat as soon as the final track ends.
