Wake up, it’s time, it’s happening! Blonde Vibrations has announced the next wave of artists who are shaping the sound of the year!. These creators pour passion and intention into every facet of their work to create a truly distinct world. These are the names that will make you stop and pay attention in 2026.

Beth McKenzie
Beth McKenzie is one to watch if you like your pop with a little sparkle and a lot of heart. After closing 2025, supporting Eileen Alister on her 'Honeymoon in a Motel' tour and landing a featured artist slot at the Focus Wales International Showcase Festival in May, Beth McKenzie is quickly collecting an inevitable buzz. Her sound lives in that sweet spot between nostalgic daydream and vibrant confidence, each track feels curious and delightfully rule-bending. She has a natural ability to take both intimate moments and big, spiraling thoughts into melodies that draw you in and wish for hours more of her art. Letting every experience steer her sonic direction has already taken her somewhere special, with 'Don't Tell My Boyfriend' and 'My Skeleton Mocks Me' shining as proof of her emotionally resonant and vast songwriting. There is a verve to Beth that suggests she will not stop until everyone knows her name, and it is a joy to watch her bloom.

Bethlehem Shalom
Bethlehem Shalom serves up jukebox dreams with a cherry on top. In an oversaturated creative world, it is genuinely joyous to stumble upon something so unmistakably clear in vision and impossible to confuse with anyone else. The result is something so confident in flavour as she has honed in on a retro-pop sound, but instead of leaving it in the past, she has whipped it up into something delectable that gets you dancing without thinking twice. This is artistry that is rooted in nostalgia yet seems entirely forward-thinking without losing any of its playful essence. She owns her vibe and that is what creates a timeless artist. There is something beautifully freeing about her sound too, like it is made for lovers of pure, binary-less music that exists simply to feel good and who wouldn't want more of that in the world?

Tiffany Day
Tiffany Day is pure aura in motion. Her hypnotic vocals paired with kitschy, electronic pop pulls you in, melting into a full-bodied sensory experience. There is an effortless confidence in every beat and breath of her sound. 'TELL ME WHAT I DID' is a perfect example of a single feeling stretched tenfold, zooming into a synth-y world to happily get lost inside. With her upcoming album 'Halo', fans are understandably ready to indulge in every new track she releases, as are we. Tiffany feels entirely new, stomping through the crowd to be heard and felt. Her power also lies in how seamlessly she utilises social media, locking people into her vivid visuals and vibrant sonic concoctions. She might even just appear on your explore page before you even finish this article!

Leona Rue
Leona Rue places herself in the quieter corners of indie, mixing together grit and gentleness together with an intuitive touch and beautiful restraint. There is a natural, unforced authenticity to her songwriting, she lets her feelings flow and never rushes a song to make their point. Every lyric is just right, not overly polished. For the yearners, the lovers, the heartbroken, and everyone in between, there is a place for you in Leona’s world as you figure out where you stand. Each track feels like a comforting embrace, etched with the warmth of a coming-of-age movie soundtrack. With an EP already behind her, Leona is building a compelling catalogue and we are eagerly awaiting what comes next as it already feels full of promise. 'Daisy' is an ideal entry point for new listeners as it is tender and reflective of her understated strength.

Eve Christina
Eve Christina writes like someone listening closely, to herself, to others, to the spaces between moments. Her songs feel intuitive rather than constructed, carried by feelings she would not dare to dilute or soften if it was not something she did not wholeheartedly believe in that moment. Vulnerability lies at the core of her sound, but amongst this is defiance, a refusal to look away from the truth even if it aches. Eve's music feels like the presence of a best friend when everything is spirally, someone willing to sit with you in the rubble instead of offering the easy way out. This March, she brings that intimacy on the road with 'the space in-between' tour, taking her songs to Manchester, London, and Glasgow. Eve Christina is an artist worth leaning into in 2026.

Mckayla Twiggs
Mckayla Twiggs has bounded onto the scene with a sense of impact that feels intentional and instinctive. Her release 'What A Girl Wants' nails a kind of polished pop that understands image, timing, and desire as part of the music itself. There is a DIY undercurrent running through the track that feeds off passion and vibrancy with self-assured production that keeps things feeling personal over pristine. As an artist, Mckayla already knows who she is, and that clarity results in music confident in its simplicity, unbothered by the need to over-explain. She has crafted a song that feels perfectly designed for a moment yet treats fun as a serious artistic choice. Mckayla has succeeded in creating a catchy and immersive statement that leaves you curious about where she will take her artistry next. We cannot wait for her next release, 'Golddigger' out this week.

Sandy
Sandy sings with an expressive, unguarded presence, placing feeling at the centre of every phrase. Her voice carries in a way that feels attentive, emotive and subtle in the right moments, which is why her sound is so resonant. Her 2025 EP 'Bunny' truly sounds like the natural result of years spent honing in on her craft and makes it sound like a delicacy. The opening track 'Oh dear, I shall be late!' sets the scene with ease, allowing each song that follows to unfold and cascade organically. There’s a divine feminine sheen to her work that balances softness with self-assurance. Sandy's music invites lingering, you want to take your time, unhurried, delving into every corner of her discography and sit with the emotions that you take on for hours. We are already yearning for what she will offer next.

Ruby Aeron
Ruby Aeron invites you into a world with a warning label, her tagline 'writing music for the whimsical and slightly deluded' says it all, and of course you become instantly invested. Her voice carries a siren-like quality, sweet and gentle but magnetic, drawing you in like a secret being shared. Each track feels thoughtfully crafted and she sounds like sunlight in the form of melody. Ruby’s debut EP, 'What Are You Scared Of?', navigates life’s scarier edges with grace, vulnerability, and subtle nuance that turns introspection into something ultimately empowering. Personal favourite 'Chapters' exemplifies this perfectly with her airy vocals and dreamy lyricism. Ruby Aeron feels like a genuine presence in music, the kind of artist whose charm is effortless but wholly magnetic as she documents her perspective and way in life through song.

Nectarine Girl
Pressing play on Nectarine Girl’s music feels like stepping into a vivid, lucid dream. Her songs are channels for envy, despair, the push-and-pull of relationships and self doubt with an intimate heartbeat beneath it all. On her recent album ‘Good Excuses for Laziness’, she balances mood and melody with effortless grace, letting tension breathe into moments of release across the layered instrumentation. She observes her own struggles through social commentary and you become fully suspended into her atmospheric world. A favourite of the record is ‘seeing me in your eyes’, but other highlights include ‘before photo’ and ‘pretty like water’ which all show off her songwriting skills in a different light. Nectarine Girl allows vulnerability and coolness to collide through moody riffs and disorienting, alluring soundscapes, and we are certainly watching her next moves.
Sweet dreams!
